About Us
At Mastermind Tutors we believe that all students deserve a nurturing environment in order for optimal learning engagements.
Our personal goal is to challenge students, in an effort to contribute to the academic excellence of each student.
We focus on building a strong foundation through the use of literacy and numeracy skills while incorporating all elements of the Ontario Curriculum.
We empower students by providing them with tools and strategies to work through academic and personal situations, as well as for self-regulation purposes!
Above all, we help students rebuild their belief in themselves!
Our Programs
Pre-Kindergarten (2.5-4 years old):
Our Pre-kindergarten program is designed to provide early learners with the important and basic skills needed to be ready for kindergarten! We focus on: cognitive skills, fine motor skills, phonetic awareness, and number recognition.
Elementary school and High-school:
We offer private tutoring, general and special education in ALL academic subjects including:
- Math
- Reading
- Writing
- Science
- Social Studies
- Geography
- Exam Preparation
French:
We offer French language support for all ages.
Greek Language:
We offer private or small group engagements in Greek for all ages.
Meet the Team
Vivian
Elementary and Greek
Vivian completed her undergraduate degree at Ryerson University in Early Childhood Education. She then attended York University where she graduated from the Teachers College Program.
Vivian's love for life long learning has inspired her to create a nurturing and safe learning environment which promotes effective learning opportunities!
Katherine
Elementary and High School
Katherine completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto in Immunology and Cell and Molecular Biology. She is currently completing her Masters of Science in Reproductive Physiology also at the University of Toronto. She is currently a member of the Juriscova Lab at the Lunen-Tanenbaum Research Institute at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Students love to work with Katherine as she has an energetic and engaging personality!
Angelica
French
Angelica attended the French Academy Lycée Franco-Hellénique Eugène Delacroix in Athens, where she graduated with a Bachelors in Economy and Social Sciences. She is currently attending York University where she is studying international studies and a minoring in Hispanic Studies.
Students enjoy working with Angelica as she is kind and patient!
